The Condenser is the component responsible for rejecting the heat absorbed in the evaporator plus the heat generated by the compressor to the external environment.
Operation
- Hot refrigerant gas (high pressure) enters the condenser
- Heat is transferred to cooling air or water
- The refrigerant condenses, becoming liquid
- The liquid proceeds to the expansion valve
