EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio)

Energy efficiency ratio measured in BTU/h per Watt.

Formula:

EER = BTU/h ÷ Watts

The EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) is an energy efficiency index widely used to classify air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Unlike COP which uses kW/kW, EER expresses the ratio in BTU/h per Watt.

EER Formula

EER = Cooling Capacity (BTU/h) ÷ Electrical Power (W)
